Saki Irie

Saki Irie was born in Fukuoka, Japan in 1999. She currently lives in Kelowna, British Columbia. She is majoring in Visual Arts at the University of British Columbia and her main focuses are on photography, and painting. Many of her projects include photography and drawing, often focusing on nature and portraits. Adding drawings to photography is one of her way to express her emotions. Since she has been living in a big city most of her life, she likes to explore and capture nature specifically landscapes and animals. Her works are often inspired by Japanese and Western culture.
